It was wonderful to see the children and staff embracing the theme of pyjamas and bedtime stories for World Book Day this year. The children had a brilliant snuggle down day sharing their favourite stories with children in other classes. Thank you to parents and carers who commented that the theme was a wonderful idea as it removed the pressure of purchasing/making costumes. They said ‘It was great to see the children celebrating what World Book Day is really about – reading and enjoying books!’. Don’t forget our book fair starting on Friday next week from 3pm in the school hall.
