We are very pleased that a recent visit from Ofsted confirmed that Willington Primary is a good school. The inspection took place on the 10th May but we have just received the written report this week. The outcomes from the inspection are presented to school in the form of a letter and in it the inspector states that:
‘Pupils are happy to attend Willington Primary School. They told me that they feel safe and secure and love learning, especially in maths. Parents and carers are appreciative of your successful efforts to create a caring school community. One expressed the opinions of many, when writing, ‘Willington is a very inclusive school in which the focus is very much on the well-being of the children as well as on academic results.’
We are extremely proud of our school and your amazing children who make it so special. Please take your time to read the Ofsted letter to parents.
