School Closed to ALL Pupils – Thursday 4th July

Electoral Services have designated the use of some schools as Polling Stations for the General Election on Thursday 4 July.

Although we have raised concerns with Electoral Services regarding the impact on children’s education and various childcare arrangements parents/carers will have to make due to this, we have been advised that our school is required for such use.

Consequently, for safeguarding reasons and on the grounds of Health and Safety, I regret to inform you that school will be closed on Thursday 4 July due to it being required to be used as a Polling Station.

We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and for the disruption to your child’s education, but I hope you realise we have tried our utmost to avoid this situation which is beyond our control.
