Reception class took part in a spot of bird watching and learnt about life cycles at Low Barnes on Wednesday 28th June. However, they weren’t as lucky as year 1 with the weather! The rain didn’t dampen their spirits though and children thoroughly enjoyed the experience which enhanced their topic work. The children recently took delivery of caterpillars to put in their butterfly house in the classroom. They have been observing the changes each day until they watched them transform into beautiful butterflies and then set them free!
