Reception class had a fantastic trip to Hamsterley Forest on their hunt for the Gruffalo. They searched the forest and found the mouse, the snake, the owl, the fox, the squirrel and eventually the Gruffalo! On their travels they also collected lots of leaves, acorns, twigs and pine cones which they will use in the classroom. Children had a wonderful time and after their picnic lunch they got to play in the park.
