Children in year 1 took a trip to Hardwick Park this week. Children learnt about the types of mini-beasts that make their homes in the park. They discovered habitats which they have been learning about in the classroom and took part in a woodland mini-beast hunt as well as a spot of pond dipping! Luckily the sun shone and children had a wonderful time. So much so most fell asleep on the way home!
