As you are aware we started the new year with a focus on design technology. Each year group (year 1 to 6) completed a project around the theme of mechanisms. The children thoroughly enjoying designing and making a variety of cam toys (things such as catapults, motorised vehicles and pop up books). The finale of the project was an exhibition and we are very grateful for the huge turnout of parents and relatives who came into school last Friday to view the children’s fantastic work. Our teaching assistants did a super job of displaying the DT projects and the children were extremely proud of themselves when they visited the exhibition and saw how magnificent their work looked.
