Children in reception class had a fabulous day being explorers at the Hancock Museum. During the course of the workshop ‘Dinky Dino’s’ the children met the museum’s little explorer the Great North Mouse who introduced them to the role of a palaeontologist. The class experienced hands on activities including discovering fossils in the sand, measuring and recording finds and meeting the museum inhabitants!
