Children in reception class enjoyed a day of Christmas in the past when they visited Beamish Museum this week. In the morning they learnt all about how people spent Christmas Day before we had televisions and computer games! They played games of Pin the Tail and Hide the Thimble, made Christmas crafts and listened to stories from long ago. The class particularly enjoyed the afternoon which was spent visiting Father Christmas and his reindeers, making sure Rudolph was well fed prior to his long trip around the world on Christmas Eve.
